Rail Safety Consulting provides support throughout the entire process. We review submitted data, compare the failure occurrence to proposing safety documents, and develop reports.
3. Facilitate Discussion with Vendor and FRA
In this role Rail Safety Consulting assists the railroad in presenting failure assessments information to the vendor of the equipment and provides reports from the RailRiskTM database for the railroads to use in making submissions to the FRA. We also participate in phone meetings with the vendors and the FRA to discuss observed failures.
